CONNECTING CREATIVITY, CONFIDENCE & INDEPENDENCE. NATURALLY.
At Westlawn School, we look beyond traditional classroom settings. We know that outdoor learning promotes physical activity, mental well-being, environmental stewardship and personal growth.
Outdoor learning is a critical component of holistic education. It engages students in a dynamic, multi-sensory environment, one that fosters curiosity, creativity, and connection with the natural world.
That’s why we’ve been curating Westlawn Woods, a one acre outdoor exploration area that’s fully located on our school property.
And now, there’s even more to be excited about! Westlawn School is excited to announce that groundbreaking has begun on our Learning Lab and Gathering Grounds, two new exploration areas within Westlawn Woods that leverage outdoor learning, play and creativity in ways that will engage your learners like never before.
The Westlawn Woods will become a sanctuary for the children. It will be a place to learn and play, a place to dream and collaborate, and a place to grow.
“Let nature be your teacher.”
